What is HTML?

HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language. It is/was the primary language used for building web sites. Plain HTML is slowly becoming outdated and being replaced with XHTML. This is a move towards separating content, from structure and design.  This movement, lends itself to more accessible web sites for the growing number of platforms.  We are currently using XHTML Transitional standards for the majority of our clients.
